Political Watcher- it's because of security reasons in validating the legitimacy of the ticket that is ultimately brought forward. Once the ticket is confirmed as a valid winner, the location is released. This is an industry standard process to help mitigate fraud. It is also completely transparent and all winners and locations are available to the public following the due diligence review process by Atlantic Lottery.

Political watcher, I suspect the winners want to remain anonymous and I can't really blame them given the size of the prize.

I am confused, ALC knows exactly where the big winning ticket was sold and even the time it was sold. Why don't they come out and identify where it was sold. Something doesn't seem right here.
