RCMP seeking witnesses to break-in

RCMP in Happy Valley-Goose Bay are investigating a break and entry into Notre Dame Agencies in the town around 1:29 a.m. this morning.

Police say entry was gained by smashing out a front door window. A Jonsered Chainsaw was stolen.

The RCMP said a red pickup truck was observed in the area at the time of the break-in.

The RCMP is encouraging anyone who might have witnessed this incident or have information regarding this theft to contact the local RCMP at 709-896-3383 or contact Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), text information to TIP190 or use the secure web tips site at www.nlcrimestoppers.com.

Informants could be eligible for a cash reward if their information leads to the arrest and conviction of a person involved in criminal activity.
