Early morning fire damages Seal Cove home

An early morning house fire on Sunday caused extensive damage to a home in Seal Cove.

According to the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary’s overnight report, the Conception Bay South Fire Department responded to the blaze on Seal Cove Road shortly before 5 a.m. Residents of the home were not injured by the fire.

Police said the cause of the fire has not been determined. RNC fire investigators and members of the fire department are conducting a follow-up investigation.
