RNC release video of fitness centre break-in

The RNC has released surveillance video of a suspect in a break and enter at the Health Vibe Fitness Centre at Centennial Square in Mount Pearl.

The RNC is seeking the public’s assistance to help identify the suspect.

About 5:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 28, RNC officers with patrol services and the forensic identification section responded to the report of a break-in. It is unconfirmed at this time if items were taken during the offence.

The male suspect is described as wearing a dark baseball hat with a logo on the front, a multi-coloured winter scarf, blue pants with a white or gray stripe on the leg, and a black leather jacket with a dark hoodie underneath.

The RNC General Investigation Unit is continuing to investigate. Anyone with information is asked to call the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You can provide information anonymously on the NL Crime Stoppers website at www.nlcrimestoppers.com.
