The RNC is continuing the search for missing person Joshua Miller and police say they are concerned for his safety.

Miller, 20, was last seen on Friday morning in the area of Blue Puttee Drive and Stavanger Drive in St. John’s when he got out of a cab in the area. Miller wasn't wearing proper winter clothes at the time and there has been a snowstorm since he went missing. He was wearing a T-shirt and maybe a blazer, police say.

The RNC is urging residents in the Stavanger Drive area to search their property for any information that may assist in the investigation.

The RNC Criminal Investigation Division, Mounted Unit, K9 Unit and Rovers Ground Search and Rescue are still actively searching for Miller since his reported disappearance.

On Sunday, the RNC received a missing person report concerning Miller. He is described as being 5’9” and 175 pounds. He has short, sandy-coloured hair and blue eyes. At the time of his disappearance he was wearing jeans and a black t-shirt.

Anyone who has any information pertaining to the whereabouts of Joshua Miller is asked to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You can provide information anonymously on the NL Crime Stoppers Website at www.nlcrimestoppers.com.

As days go by and still no trace of Joshua, I wonder if the RNC are fully investigating the taxi driver who says he fled in the woods without paying...was their an altercation? why was his cell phone left with the taxi driver? What was the actual response of the cabbie when he was told he didnt have the cab fare??Did he incur another head injury along with the previous blow to the head he suffered from those animals who kicked him in his head that night on george street? ? We all know how Michael Lewis panicked and what the outcome was when Samantha Walsh went missing. Did the RNC interrogate those morons who fought with him on the night of his disappearance? did they follow him in the cab?? Did they harm him so bad they too panicked and left him for dead?? are these people assisting the search- it happened before!!!strange twist of events! Lets hope the truth comes out. Still hoping Josh Miller is found safe and sound! Bless his friends and family!

I agree! I hope the RNC are investigating in those directions as much as any other theory! The cab driver and any other people that were involved in the incident on george street should be interrogated as if any of the horrible theorys are possibilities! Love and miss ya buddy! Praying that your still ok somewhere!

I don't know Josh but I know of people that do. Is there a Facebook group/page made to send around? I keep posting articles I see on the different media sites hoping that it will help the search. A Facebook page can help get the word out and keep the community aware. Please let me know if there is one, I'd like to help in any way I can. Hoping for Josh's safe return.

There is a reason that police and ground SAR organizations except in extrememly rare occassions don't use volunteers from the general public. They have no knowledge of how a SAR scene is supposed to be worked. Despite good intentions, unless you have been taught and know what to look for. This could harm the search scene and in a worst case scenario cause the death of the victim.

My heart goes out to the family and friends of this young man. I do not know him or his family but I hope and pray he is soon found safe and sound. Come on Telegram, monitor the comments here. This is not the place for comments that hurt the family who are already hurting more than they should be. Imagine yourself in this situation and reading the hurtful comments here. Delete them NOW! This situation is more heartbreaking than a death. Come on people have a heart! If you made the nonsense comments here, do something good tonight for a stranger. PRAY for Josh's safe return and for his family to get through this horrifying situation.

This is a public website. People are going to say whatever they want to say and unless it's completely inappropriate it has no right in being removed (which none of them were, by the way). I'm sure you're aware that everybody has a right to their own opinion. I doubt anybody's going to take orders from you to delete their comments; that's not going to bring Josh home, nor is praying. The search team needs to step it up and search harder. It's not like the area's that big, maybe that's not where he was last. Hopefully they find him soon.

So does anyone know if the search and rescue have turned up any tracks in the snow or anything of the sort around the area he went missing? If he went into the woods then I would think it wouldn't be very hard to find tracks in the snow...If not then I am starting to think we're looking in the wrong places...

I saw a homeless looking guy at 6 am this morning walking in the Mount Pearl area off Topsail Road. He probably came up from the old rail track. He was wearing a hoodie inside his coat. He was covered in snow like he had been lying down in it. Dark clothes. Description of Miller doesn't mention a hoodie and Topsail Road is the wrong area but just thought I'd mention it anyway. A person can walk pretty far if he's disoriented or whatever. Hope Miller is found safe and soon.

I do agree in the sense that if he ran in the woods it doesn't look good. But it doesn't mean that's what happened. Something serious could of happened and now he's worried bout coming out of hiding. Maybe he's embarrassed because of all the efforts people have been putting into this. If that's the case, there is no reason to think that as people will be happy you've returned safe and sound. I don't know the guy but have a few friends on FB who do know him and according to stuff I've seen them write he seems like a great guy. Hopefully he's found safe and sound soon. As for Realist. There's always a reason for a search party. Whether he is still safe or if he did get lost in the woods. While him being passed on is not something people want. Finding anything would be better to his family then having questions never answered. So I gotta say that was a pretty stupid thing to say.

Josh, sometimes I think you thrive on tormenting. I know it's because you're so full of life & love to have fun, & want everyone around you to be happy. You'd never see anyone at work stuck wanting a Tim Horton's coffee. If you come back to work soon, I'll take care of getting your Tim's every shift we work together. You're a great person with a good heart & I'm worried about you.

Josh is a sweetheart , There would be no way he would have all of us worrying like this... I just wish we could find him. He was only wearing his Tshirt that night and left his Cellphone in the cab he jumped out of!!! After problems Downtown "friends" put him in a cab without his jacket, assuming he would only be getting out upon reaching his destination... They couldn't have known that upon realizing he had no money he would jump out of the cab and take off... :(

Like many have said on here, becoming friends with someone on facebook 20 mins ago could have been from a request he sent weeks ago :( Like your mother should have told you "If you have nothing good to say, then shut the hell up" :(
