The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) in Corner Brook has charged a 54-year-old man with two counts of assault.
On Jan. 30, RNC Corner Brook region's Criminal Investigation Division received a complaint of a physical assault at a home in the city.
As a result of an ongoing investigation, police arrested a resident of the city today and charged him with two counts of physical assault on two separate victims. Police say both the accused and victims in this case are known to each other.
The accused has been held in custody to appear in court on Thursday at 9:30 a.m.
