The RNC arrested a man and woman today in connection with two separate break and enters at a commercial business on Freshwater Road in St. John’s.
The man, 31, from St. John’s has been charged with break and enter, possession of stolen property and multiple breaches of court orders.
The woman, 27, from St. John’s has been charged with possession of stolen property and multiple breaches of court orders.
Both accused were expected to appear in provincial court this afternoon.
The arrests were made after a search warrant was obtained by the RNC.
At approximately 5:05 a.m. on Feb. 3, RNC officers with the patrol services division and the forensic identification section responded to a commercial break and enter at Going Mobile Wireless.
At approximately 4:35 a.m. on Feb. 10, RNC officers with the patrol services division, K9 Unit and the forensic identification section responded to a second break and enter at the business.
During the break-ins, various cellular and electronic items were stolen along with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The RNC General Investigation Unit is continuing to investigate these offences and is seeking the assistance of the general public.
