A federal mediator has been called in to bring both the Public Service Alliance of Canada and the St. John’s International Airport Authority back to the table.

Federal Mediator Barney Dobbin called both groups back to negotiations Saturday morning. The 85 airport workers have been on strike since September 11, 2012.

Dobbin requested both sides agree to a media blackout and they have complied. Neither party will be available to the media for comment until talks conclude.
