The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary had no updates to provide on Sunday concerning its investigation into the disappearance of a 20-year-old man from St. John’s.
Joshua Miller was initially reported to have last been seen in the Stavanger Drive and Blue Puttee Drive area on the morning of Friday, Feb. 8.
The RNC’s investigation later determined that Miller may have been spotted that same morning in the area of Baird Place.
Further information provided to police suggested he may also have been seen near the Avalon Mall at approximately 2 p.m. or 3 p.m. that same day.
Miller was reported missing on Sunday, Feb. 10.
On Friday, the RNC said it was looking for additional information to help confirm those sightings.
Rovers Ground Search and Rescue had assisted the RNC in a search for Miller, but police announced last Thursday that search had been suspending “pending any new information.”
Miller is described as 6-1 and 185 pounds with short sandy-coloured hair and blue eyes. He was wearing jeans and a black T-shirt at the time of his disappearance.
When asked on Sunday if an update was available concerning its investigation into Miller’s disappearance, a spokeswoman for the RNC said she did “not have one at this time.”
