David has said it all for me. If someone in newfoundland was towing an old pickup to a scrap-yard & the line broke & the pickup was to roll over a large embankment & then left there,you would`nt hear the end of it! All those goverment employess "who don`t know what they are getting paid to do",look alive get this crap done with!

First, it sure sounds like the Irish Coast Guard is a little more proactive, innovative and competent than ours...big surprise. And second, what an embarrassing disgrace....no matter what happens (or more likely, has already happened), some people deserve to be brought up on charges for this, and others deserve to be unemployed instead of sitting on their arse waiting for their government pension.
