A Royal Canadian Air Force CH-149 Cormorant helicopter from 103 Search and Rescue Squadron in Gander is presently en route to carry out a medical evacuation (medevac) of a crewmember on board a vessel located approximately 180 nautical miles east of St. John’s.

No details are available as to the crewmember’s condition at this time.

    Respond immediatelly because it is a fishing boat. If it was a 12 year old boy lost on the ice then go back to bed or have another drink. The weather must have been good for them to go!
