The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary responded to about 180 calls for service between early Tuesday morning and this morning.
Here are some of the incidents reported:
• Around 9:27 a.m. Tuesday, officers came upon a two-car collision on Kenmount Road. A 46-year-old woman, driving one of the vehicles was detained and charged with impaired driving. The woman was released to appear in court.
• At 10:42 a.m. Tuesday, police arrested a 21-year-old woman in the Donovans area under several outstanding warrants. She was conveyed to court.
• At 10:45 a.m., police received a report of assault in the Conception Bay South area. As a result, a suspect was located and arrested for assault and breaching a court order. He was conveyed to court.
• About 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, police were called to a Mount Pearl lounge concerning a patron breaching conditions of a court order. Police arrested a 55- year-old man for breaching a court order. He was held for a court appearance.





Yes...because as we all know, the chances that this woman was not drunk are excellent. After all, what kind of person would be out driving around in morning traffic of a city drunk at 9:30 in the morning?! What sort of place could possibly spawn such behavior?!? It just defies belief, right?! ....... And THAT"S why "LIving Dunk in Newfoundland" would be a huge hit!
