The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) General Investigation Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in relation to a break and entry at Shoppers Drug Mart on Freshwater Road.
On Saturday, Jan. 19, around 6:15 a.m., officers from RNC patrol services, the K-9 Unit and the Forensic Identification Section responded to the call. A quantity of electronic devices was stolen from the business.
Police say the suspect was wearing a grey hoodie, black gloves, dark pants and had their face concealed by something black.
The RNC is asking anyone with information in relation to this break and entry to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). People can also provide information anonymously on the N.L. Crime Stoppers website at www.nlcrimestoppers.com.
The RNC is also issuing a reminder that any person in possession of stolen property can be charged criminally under the Criminal Code of Canada.
