Central Health is advising the public of complete visitation restrictions at Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Centre in Botwood.

The restrictions are due to the presence of Influenza A. The health authority says exceptions will be made for the families of palliative care residents and the needs of clients are being met through ongoing care from staff.

Family members who have any questions should contact the nursing station and ask to speak to the nurse in charge at (709) 257-2874.

Central Health says it would like to thank the public for their co-operation during the visitation restrictions.
