Malicious damage to vehicles by HMP

The RNC is investigating fire damage to a number of vehicles in the area of Her Majesty’s Penitentiary in St. John’s about 2:45 a.m. Feb. 20, 2013. Police believe an accelerant was used and the individual responsible may have sustained injuries while carrying out the offence.

    Is it just me or does most prison parking lots have a manned guard with @ least a gate?

    They certainly don't pay the officers enough to work there. They are paid over 20,000 less than the Rnc but face even more danger. Sign of the times and the violence is escalating down at HMP with all the federal inmates they have in there.

    I would imagine this was done by an ex-inmate. As a former resident of the HMP i can see why they would do this. The guards treat the prisoners like they are dirt and show them no dignity. Im surprised it hasn`t happened before.
