Saying roads were wet and slushy is akin to saying a guy careening into the ditfch at 140 kmh would have survived if he was wearing a seat belt. Or a guy driving like a madman on an ATV would not have hurt himself he he'd been wearing a helmet. Balonney in both cases! Disregard for traffic signals or driving like there's no tomorrow is is an everyday occurance these days. The media would do us a justice by leaving those excuses out of their reports.
