A 24-year-old is facing a number of impaired driving-related charges after he allegedly crashed his vehicle into a utility pole in St. John’s early Sunday morning.

The incident happened at approximately 3:40 a.m. Sunday, according to the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary’s overnight report. Officers responded to a report of a vehicle crashing into a utility pole on Merrymeeting Road.
