Police in Nain have charged a 40-year-old resident with impaired driving after he was allegedly spotted operating a snowmobile late Saturday afternoon.
According to an RCMP news release, the 40-year-old male suspect was located on Service Road in Nain shortly after 5 p.m. Police were responding to a complaint concerning a man who was allegedly drunk outside of a home.
The RCMP observed the suspect leaving on the snowmobile. He was later arrested without incident and has been charged with impaired driving and breach of an undertaking. He is scheduled to appear at provincial court in Nain on April 10.
