The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) has charged six people with several fraud-related Criminal Code charges, following complaints from several Payday loan businesses in St. John's and Mount Pearl in December 2012 of alleged fraud committed by customers.
The RNC said it initiated a lengthy investigation which led to three men and three women being arrested and charged with a total of 24 Criminal Code charges.
All were released to appear in court at a later date.
