Corner Brook man facing drug-related charges

A 21-year-old Corner Brook man is facing drug-related charges following the seizure of approximately 2.2 pounds marijuana, a marijuana plant, electronic digital scales, an undisclosed amount of money and other drug paraphernalia during a search of a residence in the west coast city.

The RNC/RCMP Joint Forces Street Level Drug Team, with the assistance from members of RNC Patrol Services, carried out a search of the home on Broadway in Corner Brook about 4:45 p.m. Saturday.

The charges include possession for the purpose of trafficking marijuana and cultivation of marijuana.

The accused was released and scheduled to appear in provincial court in Corner Brook on April 2.

    meanwhile at the liquor store, people line up to buy drugs that have been known to ACTUALLY kill people and ACTUALLY tear apart lives and families and ACTUALLY cause long term brain damage. Disgusting double standard. Legalize it all or ban it all. Pick one.
