RCMP investigating shooting death of turr hunter

Bonavista RCMP are investigating the death of a man who was shot while turr hunting near Old Bonaventure, Trinity Bay, today.

The RCMP was called to the town today after the report of the shooting taking place.

The provinces’s Chief Medical Examiner's Office is also involved in the investigation. An autopsy on the victim will be performed Tuesday at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John's.

this is a very sad situation how a day out in boat could turn out so bad thoughts and prayers are with the family
