Man arrested for possession of child pornography

The Trinity Conception RCMP in conjunction with the RCMP Internet Child Exploitation Unit arrested a 42-year-old man from Clarke's Beach Thursday for possession of child pornography.

The RCMP executed a Criminal Code Search Warrant upon the man's home and a number of items were seized related to that charge.

The man is being held in custody and is scheduled to appear in Harbour Grace provincial court today.
