The RNC on the Northeast Avalon responded to 117 calls overnight Saturday.
On Saturday evening there was a report of two males assaulting a lone male in the area of James Lane - Blackmarsh Road. Both males were arrested at the scene. One male was charged with assault and a breach of court order. He was held for court in the morning. The second male was also charged with assault and a breach of court order but was released to appear at court at a later time.
The injuries to the individual assaulted were reported to be not serious.
Just after midnight on Saturday RNC responded to a report of a car leaving the road and crashing into a snowbank on Church Hill in St. John’s. A 25-year old male was arrested and charged with impaired driving and failing the breathalyze.
At 2:00 a.m. overnight on Saturday RNC responded to a call of an intoxicated male acting disorderly outside St. John’s International Airport. A 47-year old male was arrested for breaching court order and was held for court.
