A 41-year-old woman was charged with breaching a court order and several Highway Traffic Act offences Wednesday when Royal Newfoundland Constabulary members conducted a traffic stop in the Cabot Street area.
The woman was charged with driving without a license, operating an unregistered vehicle, operating without valid insurance, and failing to transfer ownership of the vehicle.
Police say she already owed $6,500 in outstanding fines and her vehicle was seized by officers.
She was released to appear in court at a later date.
