Province recognized at national builders’ association awards

Newfoundland and Labrador received some recognition during the presentation of awards at the 70th Canadian Home Builder’s Association Conference in Lake Louise, Alberta.

Jane Morgan of Nuport Holdings Limited in St. John’s won the Gordon S. Shipp Award in recognition of her service to the CHBA at a national level.

Victoria Belbin, executive officer of CHBA-NL, won the Ken McKinlay Award for excellence in communications for a local association with more than 100 members.

The three-day national conference for the association concluded on Saturday.
