Rigolet students build komatik for RCMP

The residential construction class of Northern Lights Academy school in Rigolet, Labrador, built a new komatik (sled) for the local RCMP detachment.

Rigolet RCMP indicated they were in need of a komatik and supplied all the material to the residential construction class led by Roger Shiwak and Jessica Letto.

The RCMP said that having a reliable komatik in Labrador is critical in the day to day work of an isolated RCMP detachment.
