The installation of the lieutenant governor designate, Frank Fagan, will take place Tuesday in the House of Assembly in St. John’s, it was announced today.

The ceremony will begin 10 a.m. and will be carried live on television over the House of Assembly Channel.

A news release says that following the ceremony, the Fagan will proceed to the Confederation Building east block lobby where he will receive the vice regal salute and inspect the guard of honour. There will also be a 15-gun artillery salute (artillery will be set up in the east end of Confederation Building grounds).
