Firefighters have now left the scene of a house fire on Cashin Avenue Extension. The fire apparently started in the basement of the home causing heavy smoke and water damage to the unit and smoke damage to the attached homes.

There were no injuries in the fire.

Smoke is seen coming from the building, a four-family unit.
