St. John’s schedule for holiday

Due to the St. Patrick’s Day holiday Monday the City of St. John’s offices will be closed and the scheduled council meeting will be held Tuesday.

The Shea Heights Community Centre and Kilbride Lion’s Community Centre will remain open for the day, however all other recreation facilties in the city will be closed.

The St. Patrick’s Day holiday is not an observed holiday under the Provincial Shop Closing Act so parking regulations will be enforced.

The landfill at the Robin Hood Bay Waste Management Facility is open for commercial users Monday while the residential drop-off is regularly closed on Mondays.

Garbage and recycling collection for scheduled areas is unaffected.
