Snowmobiles stolen from central Newfoundland business

Police in Grand Falls-Windsor are investigating the recent theft of two snowmobiles from a business in Northern Arm.

According to a news release issued early Saturday evening, one of the snowmobiles was believed to have been stolen overnight on March 15 from Parts-n-Things, located on the Botwood Highway.

As police were conducting an investigation, it was learned that another snowmobile had been taken a week earlier. Both snowmobiles are black 1990 Bravo Long Track models.

Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to contact the RCMP at 489-2121 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
