It would be nice to know what is going to happen to the mill and the site it occupies long term. If the mill were gone the site would be the proper location for the hospital. Then residents of Corner Brook wouldn't have to take a taxi to see their loved ones and the hospital would not be located in the cold snow belt.

With all the cut Backs with a New Hospital that is being build With No Doctors like in Stephenville. Government build a New Hospital and got rid of most of the Doctors and Specialist 7 hour waits for all the sick and dying. 1 Doctor on call and if a emergencies comes up, I petty you if you are waiting; With all the Fracking that Government wants. Cancer Rates and sick people will be of this wall. Death Certificates will be a busy trend and even less Doctor’s Less Tax payers to pay them for what is left.

Dunderdale is just trying to deflect from the fact that she is spending $80 million on her office renovations. Instead of spending that money on her bleeping office why can't that money go into our schools? The conservative gov't is a disgrace.

You can build what hospitals you want but you still need to have the funds to staff it.To late to try and buy votes now your govt has screwed to many people outside of St. Johns of course they may not be there to vote against P.C. govt as most of them are out of the province trying to make a living yet paying taxes in NFLD. so the over paid politians can get ther inflated salaries and pensions.

So no one left the province before this government came into power? Unreal. More people have come back since the PCs have been in power.

"Advance the construction"...I've never heard it described quite that way before... This must be a 3 or 4 election project...produced like a TV mini-series, complete with 'cliffhangers'....."Will Aunt Mavis die? Will the doctor have to operate in the woods? And what about Naomi?" To even try to pull this off is truly a testament to our politicians' depth of arrogance and this electorate's predictable, easily bought stupidity.

It's one thing to announce another is to produce, this government plays smoke and mirrors. 2015 cannot come fast enought.

Of course they announce this now. It's called buying votes. A predictable strategy from a predicable government. My advice to the people of Corner Brook....play nice until 2015, then boot these jokers like the rest of us can't wait to do.

If you went out and got a job and stopped your whining you would be better off. If you want any government to solve your problems you are in a sad state..and they will be reelected because they are doing a good job
