A 29-year-old St. John’s man has been charged in connection with multiple residential break and enters, the RNC said today.
About 5 p.m. Tuesday, officers from RNC patrol services responded to a report of a break and enter in progress at a residence on Mount Royal Avenue in St. John’s.
The accused was located by police in the residence. He was arrested and charged with break and enter, possession of break and enter tools and breaches of court orders.
He was held in custody to appear in provincial court today.
Meantime, investigators within the RNC general investigation unit today laid additional charges of break and enter and breaches of court orders against the accused.
The more than 20 charges against the accused are in relation to residential break and enter complaints from Musgrave Street, Jasper Street, Quebec Street, LeMarchant Road, Patrick Street, Hamilton Avenue and Linscott Street.
The accused has been held in custody to appear in provincial court Thursday.
