The Canadian Cancer Society of Newfoundland and Labrador launched Cancer Awareness Month at Daffodil House Monday morning.

As well, April 27 has been designated as National Daffodil Day. The society is asking Newfoundlanders and Labradorians to wear a daffodil pin to support those living with and fighting cancer.

Guests were also treated to a brunch by local award-winning chefs.

How much donated money is spent on cancer awareness when everyone IS aware, or suffering or dying from it. Find the cure.

Oh I think everyone in the province is aware of Cancer. Spend the money on patients with Cancer instead of this.

Iis ther anyone who isn't quite 'aware' of cancer? Anyone?! All that's left is to get 5-year olds completely petrified about it and we're all done.
