The St. John’s area, and eastern Newfoundland areas, are experiencing drizzle or freezing drizzle, changing to rain showers this afternoon.
According to Environment Canada, a rainfall amount of five mm is expected. Fog patches are to develop with winds southeast 40 km/h gusting to 70. High plus 3.
For tonight, a few rain showers or drizzle ending this evening then partly cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of flurries overnight.
Fog patches dissipating this evening. Wind southeast 20 km/h gusting to 40 becoming southwest 30 gusting to 50 this evening. Low minus 3.
On Wednesday, a mix of sun and cloud with 40 per cent chance of flurries expected. Wind southwest 40 km/h gusting to 60. High plus 2.
Meantime, a snow squall watch in effect for west coast areas, including Corner Brook, Stephenville and the Bay St. George area.
