We thought it was Telegram policy to publish names of those charged, if they chose to run the story...just wondering.

With the weather warming up you will see a lot of theft and vandalism going on again this year in our area.It is very disappointing that in such a beautiful area this is what we have to put up with.Hopefully with the extra funding maybe something can be done.Night patrolls are needed desperately. It will be to late when someone gets hurt which is what it is leading to.The theft is used for drugs and so on. Stop the theft and you will stop even a little of the drugs.People work hard for what they have to have a thief come in and steal from them .They then go to court and get a slap on the wrist. Something has to change.

Beth, I couldn't agree with you more on what you wrote, except one point! There is no extra funding for the police. In fact the NL Government saw fit to cut out 4 Million Dollars from the RCMP's budget, at a time when there's more and more expected of our police everyday. So good luck with extra patrols, there might be even less patrols in the next couple years!
