The provincial budget dominated debate in the House of Assembly as MHAs returned from Easter Break today.
Liberal Leader Dwight Ball immediately launched into questions about the government's sweeping cuts to court resources in the justice department, only to reverse some of those cuts a few weeks later.
Ball argued that Justice Minister Darin King had not listened to people working in the system before they made the cuts.
Ball argued that the government should reverse some more cuts; he accused Premier Kathy Dunderdale of having "grossly mismanaged" the budget.
The NDP also went after the government aggressively on budget issues.
NDP Leader Lorraine Michael pressed the government for more detail on a mystery sum of $90 million, but Dunderdale wouldn't say what it'll be spent on.
