The RNC has safely located a stolen rifle and BB gun.

On Friday, April 19, the RNC received a complaint that a truck parked on Suvla Street in St. John’s had been broken into overnight. The items stolen from the vehicle included a Browning stainless steel 22-250 Remington long arm rifle in a camouflage case, a black with Birchwood stock Daisy lever action BB gun, a green camouflage Remington real tree insulated jacket and pants. Also stolen was a black Browning on point max flashlight.

The RNC was concerned about the types of items stolen and considered their potential availability on the street to be a public safety concern.

Investigators within the RNC Criminal Investigation Division have safely recovered the stolen Remington long arm rifle and Daisy lever action BB gun.

Organizations: Birchwood, RNC Criminal Investigation Division

Good for the police. The lesson from this is the woman who had seal skin jacket stolen from her store should have said there was a gun in the pocket of the jacket and she would have the jacket back now.
