Two more arrests have been made in connection with an armed robbery that took place on Saturday, April 6.
At approximately 5:15 a.m. on the date in question, RNC officers responded to an armed robbery at the Ultramar gas station on Elizabeth Avenue. The suspects entered the store and demanded cash. They also took cigarettes and lotto tickets before fleeing the scene. There were no injuries sustained during the commission of the offense.
Investigators within the RNC have already charged a 22-year-old St. John’s female with possession of stolen property and a 22-year-old St. John’s male with armed robbery, disguise with intent, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public and breach of court order.
Both were arrested without incident.
The RNC has now also arrested and charged a female youth with robbery. She was released to appear in court at later date.
A 29-year-old St. John’s male has been arrested and charged with robbery with violence, disguise with intent and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. He was held to appear in court tomorrow.
