The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary advises that Douglas Grouchy has been located and that his safety and wellbeing has been assured.


(Earlier story)The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is asking for help from the public to locate a St. John’s boy who has been missing since late Thursday afternoon.

Douglas Grouchy, 13, was last spotted at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in the area of Thorburn Road. A missing person report was filed with police an hour later.

According to a news release issued Thursday evening, the RNC is concerned about the 13-year-old’s wellbeing and safety.

Douglas is described as 5’2” and 125 pounds with blues eyes and short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a green hoodie, blue jeans and black sneakers.
