A 21-year-old man is facing charges after another man said he was assaulted in his home in Sheshatshiu early Sunday morning.
The RCMP received a complaint early Sunday that the suspect, whom police believe was accompanied by two other people, entered a residence while the occupants slept and physically assaulted the man.
The suspect was restrained but left the residence before police arrived. The victim of the assault was not injured.
The accused later on Sunday turned himself in at the RCMP detachment.
He is facing charges of break and enter and was to appear in provincial court today.
