On Thursday, the RNC seized a motorcycle after pulling it over as a traffic safety stop on Higgins Line in St. John’s.
The operator of the motorcycle was ticketed under the Highway Traffic Act for failure to transfer ownership, no insurance, failure to produce a driver’s license, and operating with the wrong class licence.
• Also on Thursday, at 2:45 p.m., RNC officers responded to a disturbance at a residence in the Goulds area of St. John’s. A 13-year-old boy arrested for assault and uttering threats. He has been held for court.
• Also on Thursday afternoon, a 68-year-old woman was charged with one count of fraud after officers responded to Sears at the Avalon Mall. She was released to appear in provincial court at a later date.
• About 7 p.m. Thursday, the RNC responded to a disturbance at a Mount Pearl residence. As a result, a 50-year-old woman was charged with assault and property damage.
She was released to appear in court at a later date.
