Beer stolen after cement block sent through door of gas bar

The RNC in Corner Brook is investigating an early morning break-in at the Co-Op Gas Bar located on Union Street in the west coast city.

Officers say the front door was smashed about 4:15 a.m. by a large cement block found inside the business. There was a quantity of beer stolen during the incident.

The suspect is described as a caucasian male, medium build with fair complexion. At the time of the offence the suspect is believed to have been wearing dark blue jeans, a navy blue hoodie and carrying a reusable shopping bag.
