A 24-year-old was arrested overnight Saturday and had his parole revoked following a theft complaint at a business in St. John’s.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary responded to a theft complaint at a Ropewalk Lane business shortly after 1:30 a.m. Sunday. A 24-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of committing theft.
After completing a records check, police learned the accused was out on parole. The RNC contacted parole services, after which his parole was revoked.
The accused was later detained at the lock up.
