Five people are homeless following a fire in Paradise Sunday evening.
The Canadian Red Cross says a fire late Sunday afternoon at a home in Paradise has left five people homeless.
Fire crews responded to the fire on Grandview Avenue shortly before 6 p.m. According to Supt. Derek Chafe, it started along one side of the home before spreading to the attic.
According to a news releases issued Monday evening by the Canadian Red Cross, a man and a woman escaped without injury, and three young adult sons were not home at the time of the fire.
Disaster volunteers have provided all five people with emergency lodging, food, clothing, and other goods.
