A water-bomber working on a forest fire in Labrador West was involved in an incident while picking up water on Moosehead Lake on Wednesday afternoon.
The aircraft was being used in forest fire suppression operations in the area.
Few details have been released at this time but it has been confirmed that both the pilot and the co-pilot did not sustain any injuries as a result of the incident.
Alternate resources are being provided to assist with the fire suppression efforts.
A water-bomber that was fighting the fire near Wabush in western Labrador has gone down in a lake in the area, according to an official with the provincial government.
Early reports say the pilot and co-pilot have been rescued and as of right now there are no reports of injuries.
