A 36-year-old Lourdes man is facing 21 charges including weapons offences, uttering threats and breach of recognizance.
Jamie Snook was arrested Saturday after Bay St. George RCMP received a complaint that a man had threatened members of his own family and other people in the community of Lourdes. It was alleged the man had a military-style rifle in his possession at the time.
On Monday, the RCMP executed a search warrant at Snook’s residence. An unsafely stored 30 calibre rifle resembling military issue was seized along with ammunition.
The investigation is continuing.
Snook remains in custody and his next court appearance is scheduled for Wednesday.
