The RNC is asking the public to help identify those responsible for an armed robbery at The Prescription Shoppe on Elizabeth Avenue in St. John’s on Monday.
About 4:30 p.m. RNC officers responded to a report that two male suspects entered the store and demanded narcotics before fleeing the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of prescription medication.
There were no injuries during the incident.
The RNC is concerned about the items stolen and consider their potential availability on the street to be a public safety concern.
Both males had their faces concealed with a cloth material during the incident.
The first male suspect was described as wearing a white jacket or hoodie and had an average build. The second male suspect was described as wearing a grey fleece or hoodie and also had an average build.
