RNC seek help identifying armed robbery suspects

The RNC is asking the public to help identify those responsible for an armed robbery that occurred at Needs Convenience on Topsail Road in Mount Pearl about 10:15 p.m. on Aug. 12.

The male suspects, both brandishing knives, entered the store and demanded cash and cigarettes before fleeing the scene with an undisclosed amount.

There were no injuries during the incident.

The first male suspect is described as Middle Eastern, approximately 5’9” tall, 160 lbs with a pointy chin, pronounced cheek bones. He is also described as having dark hair and thick eyebrows. At the time of the incident he was described as wearing a grey hoodie with beige fur on the hood, blue jeans and sunglasses on his head.

The second male is described as approximately 5’9” and 160 lbs. At the time of the offence the suspect was wearing a blue hoodie, baseball cap on backwards and jeans.
