Man charged with having concealed weapon, break and entry

A St. John’s man has been charged with break and entry,  possession of a concealed weapon, possession of break and entry instruments and four outstanding warrants of arrest in connection with a break-in in St. John's this morning.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) arrested and charged a 32-year-old man this morning around 7:10 a.m.. after responding to a report of a break and entry in progress at the Telus store on Kelsey Drive.

The suspect has been held in custody until a court appearance.

The RNC is also issuing a reminder that anyone in possession of stolen property can be charged criminally under the Criminal Code of Canada.

    Wonder! Most likely but these days it seems the thieves of this very law abiding city must get in the line up to be arrested. I think if I owned a business around here these days a well trained German Sheppard would be a very good investment! I bet this joker was yet again released and they probably paid for his taxi home!
