A 30-year-old man who failed to check in at a residential centre while out on a temporary release from Her Majesty’s Penitentiary in St. John’s has been arrested.
Robert Pitcher was unlawfully at large since Aug. 17 after failing to check in at Howard House. Royal Newfoundland Constabulary officers arrested Pitcher Friday night at a home in Paradise.
According to Saturday’s overnight report, Pitcher was arrested without incident. He was due to appear in Weekend and Statutory Holidays Court in St. John’s on Saturday.
